Our primary structural species: strong, stiff, and predictable for framing and timbers.
Western hemlock
Even grain and light color, popular for interior framing and mixed hem-fir orders.
Ponderosa pine
Easy to work and finish, and our go-to for millwork, trim, and paint-grade siding.
Western red cedar
Naturally rot-resistant, used for decking, siding, and outdoor specialty cuts.

What's the difference between KD19 and green lumber?
KD19 is kiln-dried to 19% moisture content or lower, ready to build with immediately. Green lumber hasn't been dried and will shrink slightly as it seasons; some timber-frame work calls for it deliberately.
Can I mix species or grades on one order?
Yes. Most cut lists combine two or three species and grades. Just itemize it on your list and we'll tally each line separately.
Do you sell rough-sawn or only surfaced (S4S) lumber?
Both. Timbers and specialty cuts are typically rough-sawn; framing lumber is available either way.
